     Medical Department - Technical Bulletin

Bulletins Techniques édités par le War Department de 1943 à 1945, dont l'impression sera confiée au G.P.O. Il s'agit là de fascicules techniques comportant des informations complémentaires, que les manuels à disposition aux membres des différents corps d'armée ne décrivent pas.

Il existe deux types de numérotation pour les Technical Manuals :

La première, qui sera pour des bulletins consacrés à un complément d'information affecté à un manuel technique (TM),  qui portera le numéro du manuel concerné, avec un numéro de série ajouté pour différencier le bulletin d'un autre sur le même sujet. Exemple: TB 9-280-1 indique le premier bulletin technique qui concernera le Technical Manual No. 9-280 (TM 9-280).

L’autre cas de figure, est qu’un bulletin qui ne se rapporte pas à un numéro de manuel technique, portera l'abréviation du service d'origine. Exemple: TB MED 1, correspondant au premier bulletin technique à usage médical et qui ne sera pas directement relatif à un manuel technique.

Ce dossier décrit l'ensemble des Technical Bulletins qui ont été distribués aux membres du Medical Department durant décembre 1943 jusqu'à la fin de la guerre. Ces éditions ont toujours été éditées juqu'en 1946.

Les bulletins affectés au Medical Department porte uniquement le numéro TB MED, dont il n'existe pas de série consacrée au Technical Manuals.

Comme pour toutes les éditions du War Department, les fascicules comporteront une liste de diffusion. (voir ce dossier - TM et FM)
